When generating robots.txt the program says: Cannot create file C:\Program Files\Robots.txt Editor\\tmp\tmp.$$$ The program was connected to my FTP server, all needed folders and spiders were selected.
Check you have permissions for accessing the folder C:\Program files\ Robots.txt Editor\ ... This error can be generated if the access is forbidden by Windows.
I cannot run robots.txt. The proxy authorization cannot be completed successfully, and I cannot work without proxy.
Try changing proxy password - it may contain characters, not supported by the program.
Can I transfer projects onto another computer?
By default all projects are saved in the folder C:\Program Files\Robots.txt Editor\Projects\. They have extensions *.rbt. You can save them and run on another computer, provided both copies of the software are registered. Besides, if you have analyzed log files, all log information is stored in the folder C:\Program Files\Robots.txt Editor\log-base\ - you can transfer it as well. |
