Main Project Pane

The Main Project Pane consists of the Project Workspace and the Toolbar. It shows information about all entries in the project.

Each entry has its ID number, which shows the order domain names were added to the project. To create a new project, select Project>New, or on the toolbar. To open an existing project, select Project>Open, or click .

To add a domain name to the project select Domain Name>Add Domain Name, or . A dialog window will appear, where you should type the name you have chosen. Also, for this purpose you can use Insert key on your keyboard.

How to Choose a Good Domain Name.

If you want to change or edit an entry, select: Domain Name>Edit Domain Name, or on the toolbar. Edit entries in case you have misspelled a word, or you got an idea of a better domain name. To save changes, select Project>Save or .

To remove entries from the project, select them and perform Domain Name>Delete Domain Name, or click . To select multiple entries, click on them holding Ctrl on your keyboard.

To launch domain check, first select them in the Main Project Pane, then select Domain Name>Check Selected Domain Names or push on the toolbar. If you want to check all domain names in the project select Domain Name>Check All Domain Names or push the button on the toolbar. To stop checking domain names for availability, select Domain Name>Stop Checking or push in the right corner of the Status Bar.

You can set E-mail reminders by pressing the button , or selecting Project>E-Mail Reminder.

Button launches Scheduler.

For help, click . You can see this button on every module of the program. By clicking on you will call out corresponding help topic.

You can choose the type of information about a domain name you want to be displayed in the Main Project Pane. To do this select Project>View, or push on the toolbar, or right-click the heading of the pane. A window with the available for viewing fields will appear.

To view a field in the Main Project Pane, you will need to select it in the View window. Some fields you cannot hide - they are permanently fixed.

Most fields show detailed information about the domain name's registrant, his contact phone, e-mail, fax, city, zip, etc. But there are some fields, which display the information about the working state of a domain name in the program. The field Status, reflects in graphical form the status of an entry in the project.

There are four such statuses:

  •   Domain name was never checked ;  
  •   Domain name was successfully checked;
  •   Domain name is being checked;
  •   Last attempt to check the domain name was not successful.

Field Registration status shows the registration status of a domain name and reveals the information about the possibility of its registration:

  • Domain name not checked — there were no attempts to check the domain name's availability, and it's registration status is not known;
  • Domain name registered —domain name has been checked and the information about its registration has been received;
  • Domain name not registered — domain name has been checked and it is known that it is not registered, and you can register it.

Below the description of the rest of the fields is given:

  • Last check — date of the last attempt to check domain name's availability;
  • Last send — date of the last reminder delivery about the entry in the project;
  • Registration date — date of the domain name registration;
  • Updated date — date of the last domain name lease extension;
  • Expiration date — date of the domain name lease expiration;
  • Database last update — date when the information server database was last updated;
  • From Registrant First Name to Registrant E-mail — information about the registrant of the domain name;
  • From Administrative First Name to Administrative E-mail — administrative information;
  • From Technical First Name to Technical E-mail — technical information;
  • From Billing First Name to Billing E-mail — billing information;
  • From Domain Name Server 1 to Domain IP server 5 —names and IP addresses of the servers, where the domain is situated.

Besides, you can customize the color settings for better viewing the results of the search. You can set different colors for displaying project names whose expiration dates are:

  • Beyond thirty days (More than one month)
  • Within thirty days, but beyond three days (More than one month, but less than three days)
  • Within three days (Less than three days)
  • Not registered and can be purchased
  • Not checked

You can change color settings in Program Options. To do this, select Settings>Program Options, and then select Color tab.
